Antonio Greer
About Me
I am originally from London however moved to Leeds in 2006 for University. I studied BA (Hons) Sport Business Management at Leeds Metropolitan University in the Carnegie Faculty. Despite being a sports course, many of the modules focused on Marketing; Public Relations; Event Management; Leadership and Human Resource Management. I graduated in July 2009 with a upper 2nd class honors degree.
In september 2009 I began a three month contract with The University of Huddersfield in the School of Education and Professional Development. This was a Marketing and Communication role through which I also ran numerous events and successfully led a number of campaigns. I was responsible for my own projects with my own budgets, however due to lack of funding was unable to have my contract extended despite the best efforts of my manager.
I am currently on a 6 month internship as a Marketing Assistant with Renovotec. In this role I am raising the company profile and improving brand awareness through various means, in particular social media online.
Outside of work I love all sports in particular football and
also play Rugby League semi-professionally, currently with the Hunslet Hawks. Before this I was at Wakefield Wildcats and when living in London I was part of Harlequins RL Academy. I have a huge interest in travelling and hope to one day travel around the world.
