I am responsible for any literature that we produce and the message given, both in hard copy and electronically. I introduced social media and google adwords to the company and maintain our presence online whilst liasing with our partners to ensure they provide us with maximum exposure. I also work in a team that are responsible for attending industry events, representing our company and ensuring that we provide our customer with one clear message. I have recently re-branded the company image through a change of colours, a new website and new literature, all of which will soon be launched.

During this three month project I was responsible for raising interest and applications for all Early Years courses provided by the University. I produced brochures, postcards, posters and presentations as well as holding a series of large scale events at shopping centres in the region, including both the White Rose Centre in leeds and the Kingsgate Centre in Huddersfield. I mass produced this literature as well as organising entertainment for the various events, including a magician and face painters to ensure we met our target audience. I liased with Local Authorities, external agencies and various other companies to produce this successful campaign whilst ensuring I stayed within my agreed budget. Alongside this campaign I produced a newsletter and several press releases to aid the recruitment, before finishing with a final event involving people signing up to courses. Other duties included organising existing and producing new databases that were easy to maintain once I had finished.

The Carnegie Disabled Schools Champions Cup
I was part of a team of students that organised and ran an event so successful it prompted Leeds Metropolitan University to take on our original idea and have now made this an annual event that they participate in. I released press releases, organised special requirements needed for the children and designed a plan of action for our team. I ensured that we were well prepared for any events happening that we did not expect as well as ensuring everyone had a role and was knew their role. This was an event that changed alot of things in my life as working with disabled children really makes you appreciate the opportunities you have in life.
